Inclusive instruction reduces barriers that hinder student success, supporting learners in achieving their academic goals. During this interactive presentation, we will explore how inclusive instructors facilitate learning experiences with high academic expectation while attending to the well-being of their students and themselves. We will address common misperceptions that inclusive teaching involves holding students to lower standards and not setting professional student-instructor boundaries.
