As Director of Emergency Management, Alex helps our institutions prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergency incidents. Alex supports our institutions Incident Management Teams and develops exercises, training, and on demand courses to help build a resilient community.
Allison O’Connor
Director of Collaborative Business Services

As Director of Collaborative Business Services, Allison drives strategic initiatives that enhance service quality, reduce costs, and maximize shared resources across the COF member institutions. Allison leads collaborative procurement, manages third-party contracts, and oversees COF’s shared internet network (COFAN). The Director also facilitates key committees, analyzes data for cost-saving opportunities, and works closely with COF leaders to implement impactful, cost-effective solutions.
Ashley Scire
Director of Sports and Recreation

As Director of Sports and Recreation, Ashley oversees all aspects of COF’s athletic programs, intramural sports, and fitness initiatives. She brings a wealth of experience from her coaching roles at Princeton University and Plymouth State University, where she helped lead successful teams and developed student-athlete programs.
Brenda Huggins

Brenda is the administrative and curricular leader of the Center for Performing Arts and manages a team of professional artists/instructors to create programming for five ensembles (Dance, Theater, Orchestra, Chorus, and Jazz Band.) Her work at the COF focuses on developing vital relationships with the colleges to produce live performing arts events each semester, with priority areas in equity and inclusion, fiscal vibrancy through collaborative resources, and mentoring student leadership.

As Executive Director, Claire plays a key role in strengthening collaboration among COF’s member institutions, working closely with presidents and senior leaders. With a long history in higher education, Claire fosters initiatives that benefit both individual colleges and the consortium as a whole.

She collaborates across all campuses to address key student needs, ranging from events to student clubs, while also managing internal and external communications.

Sandy enhance student services by identifying cost-saving opportunities through joint purchasing and mutual contracts, while supporting overall business operations. I work collaboratively across teams to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline financial processes, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Her focus is on driving both student satisfaction and fiscal sustainability.
Sarah Biggers

Sarah’s employee-facing work involves management of COF-wide training, development and networking opportunities for all COF employees, oversight of joint teaching & learning initiatives, as well as management of the annual MLK Breakfast event. Sarah’s student-facing work and academic work entails management of the cross-registration program and any joint COF academic programs such as the COF minors in performing arts, sustainability, and migration studies. Sarah also helps oversee the COF Center for Sustainability and the Environment.
