COF’s Center for Performing Arts Co-Director and Emmanuel Theater Arts faculty member Kristen Duffy Young, has been awarded the Distinguished Arts Educator Advocate Award from Arts|Learning. This award recognizes arts educators, administrators, and policy makers who advocate for and support arts education in the Commonwealth. Arts|Learning is a thought leader and change agent promoting arts education policies, practices and partnerships in MA public education, pre-K-college.
Kristen has served as the COF Director of Dance since 2006 and has been a member of Emmanuel’s Theater Arts faculty since 2010. She is also the President of the Massachusetts Dance Education Organization.
