On Thursday, September 27, four Colleges of the Fenway Orchestra members, and their conductor, Ms. Kathleen Berger, played for a faculty reception at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Vivian Hall, double bass, and Matthew Collins, trombone, represented Wentworth. Two of Ms. Hall’s professors were in attendance and were excited to see her play and discover one of her hidden talents. Grace Willson, trombone, from Simmons University and Ella Berger, bassoon, also shared their musicianship. Duos, trios, and bass quartets were performed by composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Offenbach, John Williams, and more.
