COF TEACHING & LEARNING CONFERENCE
What does NEASC really expect when it comes to assessment?
In 2006, the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England
Association of Schools and College (NEASC) revised its Standards for Accreditation
to articulate more clearly its expectations for institutional effectiveness and the
assessment of student learning. This session will review these expectations and
discuss their implications for institutions. Participants are encouraged to bring
examples of effective assessment practices from their campuses as well as any
questions regarding the NEASC standards.
