The Colleges of the Fenway 2011-2012 intramural season is beginning to kick off. The first sport out is flag football, traditionally the most popular sport amongst participants, with close to 50 teams each season competing. The registration deadline to sign up a complete team is Sept. 29th, but individuals can join teams up until the final regular season game.The regular season begins on Wednesday, Oct. 5th and all games take place on Sweeney Field at Wentworth. The intramural season then really starts to heat up a week later as outdoor soccer, volleyball, dodgeball, tennis, badminton and ultimate Frisbee kick of their seasons. The final event of the 2011 Spring Season is the 7th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk which will take place on Nov 19th at the Back Bay Fens.
