WHAT TYPE OF APPROVAL IS NEEDED?

All students need their faculty advisor’s approval to cross register for a course. 
Other signatures may be required depending on individual course requirements. 
Students who cross register the spring of their senior year should inform their course
instructor of their final grade deadlines at the beginning of the semester.  Due to
prerequisite requirements for some Mass Art and Design courses, academic advisors
will be available at Mass Art and Design during the cross-registration period to assist
visiting students with determining the appropriate course level.  Simmons students need
the department chair’s signature if the course is required for the major or will fulfill a
degree requirement.
